Role Overview
Sr Planner IV, TAM planning at Tasnee, located in Jubail, KSA. This role oversees planning and execution of major Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) activities from scope development through closeout.

Role Purpose
The TAM Planner is responsible for planning and preparation of major Turnaround Maintenance activities, including initiation of scope of work, preparation of Turnaround milestones, budget phases follow-up, job packages preparation, assignment of materials and services in work orders, initiation of purchase requests and meeting minutes, and development of TAM Closeout reports.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scope Development
- Extract TAM priority work orders from SAP, compile a Work List, and share with TAM core group for review.
- Develop and approve initial scope; present any scope changes or additions.
- Prepare detailed contractor scope with Maintenance Supervisor and initiate purchase requests.
- Include additional jobs before baseline and issue look-ahead schedules.
Scheduling & Execution
- Use Primavera to develop and monitor Pre-TAM and Execution schedules, including decommissioning and commissioning.
- Conduct schedule review meetings, finalize schedule, and publish at least 4 months before execution.
- Monitor compliance of Pre-Turnaround to Pre-TAM duration and report deviations monthly.
Job Package Management
- Create and route job packages for review and approval.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Provide daily status reports, hold shift-based meetings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Track key performance indicators and progress.
Closeout & Documentation
- Ensure proper closeout of TAM activities, confirm TECO, archive feedback, and manage material returns.
- Arrange refurbishment of spare components and equipment.
- Schedule TAM critique meeting post-commissioning and compile observations.
- Prepare TAM Closeout Report with inspection results and major achievements.
Compliance & Safety
- Comply with all company safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) with working knowledge of SAP MM and PS modules.
- Proficiency preferable in using Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Skilled in Contractor Management and Project Management.
- Demonstrates work ethics, values, and strong concern for safety.
- Excellent presentation skills, communication abilities, and teamwork orientation.
