Role Overview
Senior Engineer – Site (C&A) at El Seif Engineering Contracting. This is a full-time position based on-site at construction projects.

Role Purpose
The Sr. Engineer – Site (C&A) manages a section of a construction project, providing technical advice and supervising work crews and subcontractors on site to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day responsibilities of the Section team in accordance with project plans, company policies, and approved budget.
- Oversee related equipment operations at site and manage effective utilization.
- Get the best productivity from the team and resources to meet all targets on time and within budget.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with approved project plans.
- Monitor labor availability and calculate daily productivity to support project execution within budget and schedule.
- Prepare daily site reports and complete all forms related to the section.
Technical & Design Management
- Provide technical advice and supervise work crews and subcontractors on site.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Oversee implementation of approved shop drawings as per specifications and standards.
- Follow up with project consultant for approval on design, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Assess the Construction Manager in preparation of variation orders for scope of works resulting from design or shop drawings approval or client instructions.
- Support the Construction Manager in preparation of all Inspection Requests by Consultant's engineers.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed.
- Have full awareness of company QHSE plan implementation on site.
- Manage and conduct the affairs of the team with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adoption of company values across all function employees.
Reporting & Communication
- Report to the Construction Manager on the operational and financial status of the site section of project under responsibility.
- Prepare and present weekly section summary reports for Construction Manager.
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to establish detailed project plans identifying key milestones and deliverables.
- Assess Construction Manager to implement directions to achieve high satisfaction and constructive relationship with clients.
Project & Financial Management
- Follow up on delivery and close out of project section in accordance with contractual arrangements and financial outcome based on agreed financial and commercial objectives.
People & Organizational Development
- Support development of KSA national employees across the team to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance.
- Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
- Reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
Systems & Process Management
- Manage adoption and utilization of systems and ERP in the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
- 10–12 years of experience in construction sites.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in construction management.
- Knowledge in business advisory.
- Knowledge in QA/QC management.
- Knowledge in Project management.
- Knowledge in HSE management.
