Sr. Designer –Pipeline

Role Overview

Senior Designer – Pipeline at KBR. This role applies advanced engineering techniques independently, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.

Role Purpose

Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers while being consulted extensively by associates. Work with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice, and take responsibility for measurable assets including assigned staff and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques independently.
• Make decisions on engineering problems and methods.
• Serve as a consultant to associates with extensive reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.

Representation & Negotiation

• Represent the organization in conferences to resolve important questions.
• Negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.

Asset Management

• Take responsibility for assigned staff and budget.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years related experience.
• Average experience ranging from 10+ years.
