Role Overview

Speech Data Collection Contributor for a speech recording project with CrowdGen by Appen, based in United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose

Record native Arabic speech to train AI speech recognition systems. Your voice contributions help develop and improve artificial intelligence language models.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection

• Read and record 500 short Arabic sentences using the Appen Mobile app.
• Complete one recording session in 1–2 hours.
• Follow all recording guidelines consistently.

Quality Assurance

• Achieve at least 90% pass rate on quality review to receive payment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Native Arabic (Gulf) speaker located in United Arab Emirates.
• Age 18 or older.
• Gulf Arabic language must be listed in your Language Skills profile before applying.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to follow recording guidelines.

Additional Information

• Payment issued upon project completion, conditional on at least 90% of recordings passing quality review.
• Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app required.
• Demographic quotas apply.
• Task slots depend on region capacity.
• Candidates will be contacted if slots become available.
• Selected contributors will receive an email from CrowdGen with account setup instructions and project details.
