Role Purpose

Record native Modern Standard Arabic voice commands using a mobile app to create a dataset of scripted prompts for speech recognition training.

Key Responsibilities

Recording & Data Collection

• Record 500 scripted prompts using the Appen Mobile app on your smartphone.
• Complete recordings on your own schedule within approximately 1–2 hours total session time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Native Modern Standard Arabic speaker from Saudi Arabia.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently residing in Saudi Arabia.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with smartphone technology.
• Ability to follow scripted prompts accurately.

Additional Information

• Contract type: Project-based Independent Contractor role.
• Requires an Appen-compatible smartphone.
• Must have a CrowdGen account registered in Saudi Arabia.
• Payment is issued upon completion with at least 90% of recordings passing quality review.
• Payment is proportional if fewer than 500 prompts are assigned.
• Account setup instructions will be provided via email upon selection.
• Availability is limited due to demographic quotas.
