Role Overview
Specialist Radiologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman (SKMCA), providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services with a focus on women's health, including gynecological and obstetric imaging.
Role Purpose
Deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services within scope of expertise, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient care, mentor junior staff, and contribute to departmental continuous improvement and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Imaging & Diagnosis
- Conduct detailed patient histories and examinations, ensuring compassionate and efficient care.
- Investigate, evaluate, and diagnose conditions using advanced imaging modalities with focus on women's imaging.
- Perform and interpret imaging studies related to gynaecology, obstetrics, and general radiology.
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain compliance with SKMCA's medical bylaws, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
Departmental Support & Leadership
- Support the Head of Department in ensuring adequate medical coverage within the department.
- Actively participate in teaching, mentoring junior staff, and departmental audits.
- Engage in performance and quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS and a Master's Degree or equivalent in Radiology.
- Valid UAE license or eligibility.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Radiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in Gynaecological Imaging.
- Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and international radiology standards.
