Role Purpose

Deliver compassionate, high-quality medical care to burn patients by examining, diagnosing, and treating injuries and disorders, while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and maintaining comprehensive patient records and compliance with medical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Diagnosis

• Examine patients and take detailed medical histories.
• Address patients' concerns and answer their questions.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results to patients.

Treatment Planning & Delivery

• Recommend and design treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications or therapies.
• Explain medical procedures to patients.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and lifestyle changes.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Update patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.
• Consult with other physicians and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Collaborate with nurses, assistants, and other healthcare staff.
• Comply with medical laws, including HIPAA.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree and successful completion of residency and internship.
• State license and certification to practice medicine.
• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.
