Role Purpose
Establish and manage comprehensive HSE risk management and process safety strategies to ensure operational safety, regulatory compliance, and enhanced workplace integrity across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
HSE Risk Management and Strategy
- Prepare and implement HSE Risk Management strategies to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Develop and execute Process Safety Management protocols to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
- Perform Hazard Identification and Risk Analysis to proactively address safety concerns.
Contractor and Performance Oversight
- Monitor Contractor HSE Performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Fatigue and Emergency Management
- Conduct Fatigue Risk Management assessments and implement necessary measures.
- Participate in Crisis Management and Emergency Response Planning activities.
Safety Operations and Standards
- Oversee Permit to Work processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions.
- Implement Safe Work Practices (WMS) to maintain a secure working environment.
Technical Expertise and Reporting
- Advise on technical safety matters and provide expertise in operating integrity.
- Analyse safety data and prepare reports for management review.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve safety and operational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical, or other relevant disciplines.
- 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on HSE and operating integrity.
