Role Overview
Logistics & Fulfilment Specialist at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF LifeStyle division, Planning and Merchandising department.
Role Purpose
Manage day-to-day operational supply chain and logistics for Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle to maximize process efficiency and productivity while ensuring seamless supply chain and logistics operations that meet business objectives and are time and cost efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Execution
- Execute end-to-end supply chain activity for assigned merchandise areas.
Operations & Monitoring
- Monitor daily replenishments to stores, launch deliveries, store returns, and orders and deliveries of merchandise and non-merchandise items based on Visual Merchandising and Marketing requirements.
- Track, record, and manage all shipment incidents and discrepancies with partners and stakeholders.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of supplier and service provider performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare up-to-date reports on logistics performance and activities.
Financial Management & Reconciliation
- Validate all service provider invoices to ensure charges are consistent with agreed terms.
- Conduct regular reconciliation with Finance to update all booked and un-booked service provider invoices.
Stakeholder Management
- Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders by providing relevant and timely information for sound business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, or relevant field.
- 3–5 years' experience in supply chain or logistics.
- Exposure to a high-volume transaction multi-site retail organization is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Detail oriented.
