Specialist II, Mechanical position at Tasnee, located in Jubail.

Role Purpose
Prepare procedures, conduct detailed inspections, develop equipment and system-specific inspection and preventive maintenance checklists, and create maintenance, repair, and overhaul plans for diesel engines, lifting equipment, and HVAC systems. Develop statements of work, review spare parts, perform technical evaluations of proposals and annual rated contracts, conduct risk assessments, and evaluate management of change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Inspections & Condition Assessment
- Conduct detailed inspections of diesel engines, HVAC systems, and lifting equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, and reach stackers.
- Form repair recommendations based on inspection findings.
- Conduct survey and condition-based inspections of diesel engines, HVAC systems, lifting equipment, and department scope-related equipment and systems.
Planning & Documentation
- Develop diesel engine, HVAC, lifting equipment, and department scope-related equipment and system-specific task lists and preventive maintenance plans.
- Develop CTI/TRA and procedures.
- Prepare statements of work for repair works, TAM, and annual rated contracts.
- Review and update drawings and documents.
Technical Evaluation & Assessment
- Perform technical evaluation of contracts and proposals.
- Evaluate materials desired for maintenance and repair works.
- Conduct criticality assessment and revaluation of assets.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analysis, and investigations of incidents.
- Prepare failure reports.
Procurement & Inventory
- Review spare parts and create requests for spare parts and Material Data Governance submissions.
Financial Planning
- Prepare capital expenses budgets.
Management of Change
- Take responsibility for management of change initiation, MOC evaluation, PDSA, PSSR, clearance for operation, and MOC closeout.
Project & Operations Leadership
- Coordinate and supervise project handover and takeover activities.
- Form records and updates, and upload equipment master data in SAP.
- Perform as onsite lead during critical work and conditions.
- Support reliability and integrity-related actions for department scope-related equipment and systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 13+ years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies
- SAP Maintenance Modules.
- Meridium APM (Asset Performance Management).
- Microsoft Visio.
- Microsoft Project.
