Role Overview
Specialist Data & Access Security Planning (Trainee) with Du, based in a location to be confirmed by the employer.
Role Purpose
To monitor, implement, and manage security systems and controls that protect organizational networks and data while ensuring compliance with data protection laws and privacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring & Threat Management
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents and data breaches.
Security Implementation & Tools
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and update privacy policies in alignment with UAE Data law, Dubai Data law, DESC security law, GDPR, HIPAA, and local regulations.
- Ensure data handling processes meet compliance requirements.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments for new systems, software, and projects.
Access Control & Data Governance
- Maintain secure access controls and ensure proper user permission management.
- Oversee data lifecycle practices, including data collection, usage, storage, and deletion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Preferred existing knowledge of Information Security.
