Role Purpose

To analyze business data and assess the performance of business lines, enabling business units to monitor their performance and make informed strategic and operational decisions through comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and scenario development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop dashboards and business reports for the organization in support of the business intelligence team.
• Maintain business performance reports across the organization.
• Increase data availability by gathering from multiple sources and ensure data quality.
• Coordinate with different business units and governmental agencies to gather data and information related to business operations.

Performance Analysis & Diagnostics

• Analyze business data to assess performance of business lines.
• Diagnose business performance issues through data analysis of business operations generated data.
• Recommend corrective measures to address identified performance issues.
• Support business units during the implementation phase of corrective actions.
• Follow up with business units management on status and issues related to business support studies.

Strategic Planning & Forecasting

• Provide support for strategic and operational planning through data analysis of historical business transactional data and market trends.
• Develop factual business scenarios for senior management decision-making.
• Help develop sales budget forecasts by coordinating with business units to gather market intelligence.
• Fine-tune mathematical forecasts to set business unit targets as per requirements.

Market & Business Analysis

• Continuously conduct macro, trends, market, and competitor analysis.
• Develop financial models to assess the viability of various business cases.
• Work with Policy, Business Process Re-engineering, Business Development, and Market Research teams.
• Provide support in data analysis and development of mathematical models and creation of business scenarios.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Initiatives

• Collaborate with all business units in ADNOC Logistics & Services and commercial, Operations, Asset Integrity, Legal, Finance, and Health, Safety & Environment teams to develop initiatives.
• Gather new requirements to improve business performance issues.
• Recommend policy, procedure, and systemic interventions where necessary.
• Provide insights drawn from actual and real-time data for formulation of policy.

Communication & Support

• Deliver training and presentations to stakeholders.
• Support business units in implementing recommendations and corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics or Mathematics (required); MBA preferred.
• Six years of experience in information analysis and business performance.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques, modelling, research design, and analysis.
• Knowledge of SAS or other statistical software preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Very strong and proven high-level analytical and mathematical/statistical skills.
• Training and presentation skills.
• Communication skills.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Arabic advantageous.
