Role Purpose
Deliver high-quality spa and wellness treatments to guests through professional techniques and personalized service, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and client confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Treatment Delivery
- Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, and other beauty and wellness therapies.
- Use appropriate techniques, products, and equipment to deliver high-quality services.
- Massage the body using techniques such as kneading, rubbing, and stroking to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles, or relieve other conditions.
- Administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet, infrared, or water treatments on request of the guest.
- Provide directions to clients in activities such as reducing or remedial exercises.
Client Consultation & Documentation
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs, preferences, and any health concerns.
- Complete all necessary paperwork including questionnaires and consultation forms correctly.
- Refer to supervisor or manager prior to any treatment delivery.
- Document pertinent information on the guest's personal record.
- Record treatments furnished to customers.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Follow all established health and safety procedures in every treatment for guests' well-being, utmost comfort, and satisfaction.
- Ensure that treatment rooms are tidy and all items available, such as towels, candles, and oils.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all hygiene and safety protocols.
- Adhere to spa policies and procedures related to cleanliness, sanitation, and client confidentiality.
Sales & Guest Experience
- Promote spa services and products to clients, aiming to enhance their overall spa experience.
- Upsell additional services or products when appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry.
- Spa Therapist Licensed or Certified.
