HealthHub Discovery Gardens is a well-established multispecialty primary care and diagnostic center serving one of Dubai's most diverse and vibrant residential communities. The clinic provides comprehensive healthcare services including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dentistry, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Physiotherapy, Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Imaging services. It operates seven days a week and serves a multicultural patient population from Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, The Gardens, Jebel Ali, Jumeirah Islands, and surrounding communities. The Discovery Gardens community is home to a diverse population of Emirati and expatriate residents, with Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Tagalog commonly spoken throughout the area.
Role Purpose
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensure excellent patient care, and support physicians with accurate diagnostic imaging services within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in accordance with DHA regulations and professional standards.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and dignity.
- Support physicians and specialists with accurate imaging and preliminary findings.
Patient Care & Communication
- Review patient history and explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Deliver exceptional patient service in line with HealthHub values.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Accurately document examinations within the electronic medical record system.
Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any operational issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, Sonography, or related field.
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Sonographer.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification ultrasound experience.
- Experience performing general ultrasound examinations independently.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English language skills.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Experience in abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, small parts, and musculoskeletal ultrasound (preferred).
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Tagalog language skills are an advantage.
