Solutions Engineer with Trend Micro, a global AI security leader and enterprise business unit. This is an onsite role based in Qatar.

Role Purpose

The Solutions Engineer serves as the technical bridge between Sales Representatives and pre-sales customers. You will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions, take joint ownership with the Sales team in developing customer relationships, provide leadership in security architecture, and influence customer technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Success & Engagement

• Understand customer journey with product and experience to help customers navigate smoothly.
• Become obsessed with customer success during engagement, onboarding, and product experience journey.
• Develop close relationships to help influence the technical strategy of the customer.
• Develop understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance, technology gaps, and implementation requirements.
• Work with company technical support personnel to ensure ongoing quality of support and customer health.

Sales Enablement & Training

• Serve as a strong pillar to build and train the sales organization.
• Conduct routine updates on new products and technology to internal sales staff.
• Help sales team sell better and more effectively through excellent storytelling.
• Deliver training to customers and prospects about Trend Micro solutions.
• Encourage and empower partners and channel to propose, position, and convince customers with products and solutions.
• Leverage channel partners by upscaling and training for customer engagement.

Technical Expertise & Demonstrations

• Confidently deliver engaging technical demonstrations highlighting Trend Micro product advantages and benefits via solid messaging, presentation skills, and public speaking.
• Present complex technical issues and solutions to all levels of an organization in a meaningful, engaging, and digestible manner.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to design solutions that solve customer problems.
• Work closely with Regional and Global Product Managers and Product Marketing Managers to obtain the latest product and technology knowledge.

Industry Presence & Continuous Learning

• Actively participate in webinars, workshops, and other industry events as a speaker or panellist.
• Participate in technical communities of interest.
• Contribute to departmental best practices, strategies, methodologies, and documentation for increased efficiencies.
• Maintain continuous self-improvement and learning to keep current technical knowledge.

Ecosystem Engagement

• Understand emerging ecosystem of cybersecurity partners such as SOC services partners, CSP (cloud service partners), and MSSP.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of rich experience delivering highest quality presales support and solutions with unique value to customers.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of SOC operations, security analytics capabilities, cloud architecture, cloud native application security, SASE, CASB, and Zero Trust model.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, and AWS services.
• Exposure to security software solutions including Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion Prevention, encryption, data leakage, data protection, and monitoring security.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• A strong interest in all aspects of cybersecurity and a passion for customer security.
• Excellent understanding of public cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
