Role Overview
Soft Services Consultant/Specialist at JLL, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Purpose
To monitor, inspect, and optimize all cleaning operations for a high-profile facility. Ensure service providers consistently meet contractual standards, agreed KPIs, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and maintaining pristine facility environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and inspect all cleaning services to ensure service providers meet contractual standards, service frequencies, and agreed KPIs
- Conduct regular audits and prepare inspection reports highlighting service quality, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions
- Review and verify daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage aligned with FMMA requirements
- Verify consumables and chemical usage reports to ensure cost-effective consumption without compromising quality
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards with correct materials and equipment usage
- Review method statements, risk assessments, and training records submitted by service providers
- Support sustainability initiatives including waste segregation and recycling programs while ensuring compliance with all FMMA operational and safety policies
Staffing & Performance Management
- Supervise housekeeping staff performance through service provider channels and recommend improvements when necessary
- Oversee specialized cleaning works including façade cleaning, floor polishing, carpet shampooing, and deep cleaning activities
Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with clients, FMMA operations teams, and service providers for issue resolution and service enhancements
- Participate in meetings with FMMA teams and client representatives to report on cleaning performance, challenges, and improvement plans
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cleaning operations management
- Experience managing large-scale or high-profile facilities such as government buildings, corporate headquarters, or premium commercial properties
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Hospitality, or related discipline
- BICSc certification (essential)
- Additional FM certifications strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning operations, grooming standards, and BICSc methodologies
- Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment, materials, and chemical applications
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, safety compliance, and environmental regulations
- Excellent inspection, reporting, and communication skills
