Role Overview

Social Media Associate at Emrb. The role focuses on producing short to medium form content from ready-made titles and long formats tailored for the region, with primary distribution across all social media platforms.

Role Purpose

To identify, edit, and publish engaging short and medium form social media content from the company's show roster, while managing end-to-end content creation workflows and ensuring compliance with usage rights and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

• Identify short and medium form content from show roster and edit into social-friendly formats.
• Lead end-to-end content creation and publishing processes.
• Own story and segment selection, production elements, and content development while keeping core ideas intact.
• Produce short to medium form content from ready-made titles and long formats tailored for the region.

Planning & Coordination

• Work closely with global partners for planning and to ensure content is cleared from a usage rights perspective.
• Maintain an excellent and ongoing relationship with the business team to plan social media content in conjunction with product release.
• Work closely with the core content team to plan for material.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work effectively with fellow producers, content marketing, and copywriting teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in media and video production.
• Vertical content creation experience.
• Entertainment or longtail content experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Intermediate editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
• Intermediate editing proficiency in AVID.
• Basic design skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience creating content across social channels with understanding of different audiences and channel roles.
• Eye for virality and ability to identify marketable material.
• Fluency in Arabic and English reading and writing.
• Tech savviness and hunger to learn additional tools to expand knowledge.
• Strong time management skills.
