Skilled Maintenance Workers – Plumbing, Masonry, Painting & Carpentry

Role Overview

Burjline Builders is hiring experienced Skilled Maintenance Workers for a facilities maintenance project in Muscat, Oman. Vacancies are available for Plumbers, Masons, Painters, and Carpenters. Candidates may apply for one specific trade and should clearly indicate their preferred position in their application.

Role Purpose

To deliver preventive and corrective maintenance services across plumbing, masonry, painting, and carpentry disciplines, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing

• Install and repair water-supply and drainage systems.
• Maintain pipes, valves, pumps, sanitary fixtures, and water tanks.
• Identify and repair leaks and blockages.

Masonry

• Perform blockwork, plastering, tiling, concrete repair, and minor civil works.
• Repair walls, floors, and damaged surfaces.

Painting

• Conduct interior and exterior painting.
• Prepare surfaces, sand, apply putty, and perform touch-up work.
• Apply knowledge of different paint types and application methods.

Carpentry

• Repair and install doors, cabinets, partitions, ceilings, and furniture.
• Work with wood, laminates, and standard carpentry tools.

General Maintenance

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Work independently and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
• Comply with workplace safety procedures and use tools and equipment correctly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant trade certification or technical training preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience in airports, catering facilities, hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings, facilities management, or industrial environments is an advantage.
