Role Overview

Site Supervisor at Cubic Defense. Based on-site with the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in Saudi Arabia, the role supervises Hardware and Software Specialists and leads the repair, maintenance and management of ACMI (Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation) equipment and facilities.

Role Purpose

To supervise all ACMI support staff and manage the repair facility and flight operations areas, ensuring all ACMI hardware and software equipment and subsystems meet required technical standards. The role maintains 100% accountability and serviceability of equipment, provides exceptional customer service to the RSAF, and meets all contractual reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Leadership

  • Supervise ACMI support staff including Pod Technicians, Digital Display System Operators, employees, sub-contractors and RSAF personnel assigned to support ACMI.
  • Lead, motivate and develop all ACMI employees to achieve current and future business needs.
  • Monitor, review and evaluate all work practices and administrative procedures for the ACMI Warehouse and Workshop Repair employees.

Equipment Maintenance and Operations

  • Oversee and perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned electronic equipment.
  • Manage and perform repair and maintenance of all ACMI Hardware and Software Equipment and Subsystems to required technical standards.
  • Operate as a Hardware Repair Specialist (Pod Technician) and Digital Display System Operator (DDSO) as needed to support exercises.
  • Read and interpret schematics, parts and wire diagrams, established test instructions, procedures and customer specifications to determine required test equipment.

Warehouse and Facility Management

  • Manage and run the Warehouse and Workshop Repair departments on a day-to-day basis.
  • Operate and update the warehouse database for ACMI tracking and reports to ensure 100% parts availability and maintenance timeliness statistics.
  • Plan resources in line with Company and RSAF operational needs.
  • Conduct regular Workshop and Warehouse inventories in compliance with RSAF and company policies.
  • Control, monitor and audit equipment shipping and receipts.
  • Produce a resources coverage plan for issue, maintenance and repair during exercise periods.

Customer Service and Equipment Accountability

  • Provide exceptional customer service to the RSAF during issue and receipt of ACMI equipment.
  • Prepare equipment for issue and document all return of equipment.
  • Maintain 100% accountability of the serviceability and operability of ACMI equipment at all times.

Security and Classification

  • Oversee and maintain 100% accountability of all Classified Documents, Equipment and associated tools.
  • Establish a culture of vigilance by overseeing and performing 100% of all Security Checks.
  • Provide regular and on-the-spot Classification Security Training to all employees and sub-contractors in ACMI areas.
  • Provide immediate responsiveness to all Security or Classification Inquiries in compliance with all governmental and company requirements.

Reporting and Stakeholder Management

  • Meet all contractual reporting obligations to the customer including weekly, monthly and annual status reports on serviceability of equipment, availability of equipment, and success of equipment during training exercises.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and annual reports in accordance with contractual obligations to the RSAF and the Program Manager.
  • Regularly interface on-site with all levels of the Royal Saudi Air Force Command Teams as required.

General

  • Work as one team and support colleagues with their duties when required to ensure successful provision of service to the customer.
  • Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policies and procedures, in particular code of conduct, quality, security and occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Program Manager from time to time as may be reasonably required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Aviation, or Communication) or equivalent, OR 12+ years in military-related technical field.
  • 3+ years management experience OR 5+ years as assistant manager in technical role.
  • In-depth knowledge of radar and radio technologies.
  • English proficiency: skilled in reading, speaking and writing.
  • Ability to have, obtain and maintain a KSA-MOD (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense) National Security Clearance.

Desirable

  • Military service from the following technical specialties: US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Navy, or US Army in roles including Aviation Weapons' Loader, Avionics Technician, Electrician, Air Defense Radar Operator, Radar Technician, Communications Technician, UAV Technician, Air Defense Artillery Radar Repair Technician, or Armament Technician.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings (schematics).
  • Ability to instruct.
  • Proven English proficiency (TOEFL or STEP Certified).
