Site Structural Engineer at GHD, located in Al Ain.

Role Purpose
Oversee the structural aspects of construction projects, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Inspection
- Supervise and inspect structural works on-site, including foundations, substructure, superstructure, and architectural finishes.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and inspection/testing plans.
Technical Management
- Resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of site activities and progress.
Safety & Quality
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience in site supervision of structural works within the construction industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
