Site Engineer

Role Overview

Site Engineer at Al Shirawi Group.

Role Purpose

Oversee underground construction operations, ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance, and coordinate between project stakeholders on site execution.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Supervision

• Supervise drive and reception shaft construction, pipe jacking operations, slurry systems, and machine excavation.

Engineering Verification

• Review tunnel alignment, calculate jacking forces, and verify the structural viability of jacking pipes.

Quality & Compliance

• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Ensure alignment with local regulations.

Site Monitoring

• Assess ground conditions and monitor settlement or hydrostatic pressures.
• Enforce strict HSE protocols.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison between project managers, contractors, and municipal authorities.
