Site Engineer - Civil

Role Overview

Site Engineer - Civil at Galadari Brothers. The role is based at project site locations.

Role Purpose

To supervise daily civil and structural site works, ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, coordinate with subcontractors and consultants, and maintain quality and safety standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise daily site works for civil and structural activities.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project timelines.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and labour for smooth execution of work.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Report daily site progress to the Project Engineer or Manager.

Quality Control

• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, tests, and material deliveries.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly.

Materials & Resources

• Ensure availability of required materials and tools.
• Verify and approve material deliveries as per specifications.
• Reduce wastage of materials and resources on site.

Health & Safety

• Ensure site safety compliance and adherence to HSE guidelines.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in construction.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Exposure to residential, commercial, and/or infrastructure projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and site management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and site management software.
• AutoCAD preferred.

Additional Information

• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Willing to work at project site locations and in varying weather conditions.
