Role Purpose
Operate and maintain heavy equipment (shovel) efficiently and safely at various project sites, including marine and beach operations, while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Operate the shovel for loading, excavation, and material handling activities as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the equipment at all times.
- Support other equipment or site activities as directed by the Plant Manager.
Maintenance & Equipment Care
- Ensure proper functioning of the machine through daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Report any mechanical issues, damages, or incidents immediately to the Plant Manager.
Coordination & Safety
- Coordinate with site supervisors and the plant team to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies during operation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license is essential.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand work instructions.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and site safety standards.
- Ability to work in marine or beach site environments.
Additional Information
- Driving License No. 3 (LTV) will be considered an added advantage.
