Role Overview
SharePoint Architect at VAM Systems, Qatar operations.
Role Purpose
Design, architect, and deliver SharePoint solutions leveraging Microsoft cloud technologies, automation platforms, and modern development practices to support business transformation and integration requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud & Microsoft Technologies
- Architect solutions using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, and Power Platform.
- Design Azure Functions and Azure Storage integrations.
Integration & Data Exchange
- Establish REST APIs and CSOM integration patterns.
- Lead Microsoft 365 and SharePoint integrations with third-party systems.
- Design backend services and data exchange patterns.
Automation & Workflow
- Design Power Automate workflows and approval processes.
- Implement Dataverse solutions and business process automation.
- Configure notifications and workflow automation.
Modernization & Migration
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and SharePoint modernization projects.
- Execute classic-to-modern transformation using ShareGate, SPMT, and PnP PowerShell.
- Validate migration outcomes and ensure solution integrity.
Application Engineering
- Develop solutions using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, AngularJS, and Node.js.
- Implement SPFx, jQuery, and Bootstrap for frontend solutions.
DevOps & Delivery
- Manage Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control.
- Coordinate deployment planning and release management.
- Provide production support.
Security & Governance
- Design access control and permissions frameworks.
- Ensure governance, accessibility, and compliance in solution design.
- Apply environment concepts and security best practices.
Data & Platforms
- Architect Microsoft SQL Server, Dataverse, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Table Storage solutions.
