Role Overview
Shadow Teacher at Waad Education. Provide individualized support to students within the classroom, helping them engage, participate, and integrate effectively into the learning environment.
Role Purpose
To deliver one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, enabling them to engage with learning, develop academic and social skills, and integrate successfully into the classroom community.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist students with classroom participation and integration.
- Support students in developing their academic, social, and communication skills.
Learning Strategy Implementation
- Implement recommended educational, behavioral, and learning strategies.
Progress Monitoring & Feedback
- Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to the SEN team.
Collaboration & Environment
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and parents when required.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
