Services Specialist - Wireline at Baker Hughes. This role executes wireline field operations at wellsites, supporting well construction and production through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.

Role Purpose
Execute wireline operations safely and efficiently in line with technical programs, customer requirements, and health and safety standards while maintaining equipment readiness and supporting the wellsite team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Execution
- Execute wireline operations in line with technical program, safety standards (HSE), and customer requirements.
- Perform tool preparation, assembly, and function testing.
- Deliver real-time operational support during jobs.
- Support equipment readiness through proper usage and identify issues early.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Ensure tools are fit-for-job before deployment and equipment is properly maintained.
- Hand over equipment after operations in proper condition.
- Maintain basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate job reports and equipment status updates.
- Report job activities and tool status proficiently.
- Use field digital acquisition systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in wireline field operations (open hole / cased hole / Sondex tools).
- Running and deploying downhole tools at wellsite.
- Hands-on Sondex tool experience (highly desirable / preferred).
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair experience.
- Familiar with Job Center / field reporting systems.
- Basic SAP exposure (equipment tracking, job documentation – optional).
- Proficient in reporting job activities and tool status.
- Proficient in using field digital acquisition systems.
- Strong field discipline and safety mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure in remote/rig environments.
- Team player with good communication at wellsite.
- Practical, hands-on problem-solving attitude.
