Service Engineer - Refrigeration & AC

Role Overview

Service Engineer - Refrigeration & AC at Al Shirawi Group, based in Qatar. This role leads the LAC Qatar Service department, overseeing technician supervision, client interactions, and operations across AC and Refrigeration sites.

Role Purpose

Manage technician teams and multiple AC and Refrigeration service sites while building strong client relationships and ensuring efficient, effective service delivery across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Supervise and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve service delivery objectives.

Site & Operations Management

• Oversee and manage all sites related to AC and Refrigeration, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess and maintain equipment performance.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Client Management

• Engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide excellent customer service.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Technical Support & Problem-Solving

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in AC and Refrigeration.

Administrative & Coordination

• Submit invoices and ensure accurate record-keeping for all service activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Good knowledge of AC and Refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software.
