Role Purpose
As a Food Server at Café Boulud, you will create exceptional and memorable dining experiences for guests by providing attentive, personalized, and intuitive service while demonstrating extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings and guiding guests confidently through their dining journey.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Experience
- Deliver attentive, personalized, and intuitive service to all guests.
- Develop and maintain strong understanding of the Café Boulud menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and the stories and inspiration behind each dish.
- Guide guests through their dining journey with confidence.
- Provide thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.
- Respond to guest questions regarding menu and beverage offerings.
- Create memorable moments that reflect the distinctive culinary experience and legendary service that define Four Seasons and Café Boulud.
Operations
- Carry and balance trays accurately and professionally.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and refined restaurant environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years of food and beverage service experience, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to carry and balance a tray.
- Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
