Role Overview

Senior Wet Utilities Engineer - Design at AtkinsRéalis, Dubai, UAE. The AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to support infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in the GCC, including planning, designing and engineering related to wet utilities networks.

Role Purpose

To provide technical expertise and leadership on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC, with focus on wet utilities design and delivery. The role supports project bids, client relationships, and the progression of infrastructure projects from tender through to completion while maintaining compliance and fostering a strong health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Provide technical assistance on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
• Support designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.

Business Development

• Support single and multi-disciplinary discipline bids, with a clear focus on what is needed to win.
• Continue to build relationships with existing clients, securing repeat business and identifying additional business opportunities.
• Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.
• Report on project performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with registration in SCE.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role or project.
• Currently based in UAE with significant experience on GCC-based projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs is a plus: ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Info Works, SWMM, Storm/Sewer/Water CAD, Revit/BIM.
• Ability to process paper and electronic documents and utilize computer equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Ability to visit project sites if necessary.
• Ability to assemble and analyze data.
