Role Purpose

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of IT function to ensure technology initiatives, infrastructure, and services effectively support the company's strategic priorities and business objectives. Drive formulation and execution of IT strategies, optimize budgets, and ensure robust cybersecurity, data governance, and disaster recovery measures while positioning Emarat at the forefront of technological advancement in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Formulate and execute IT strategies aligned with company strategic priorities and business objectives.
• Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on technology and digital matters.
• Foster innovation and embed best-practice frameworks across the IT function.

Infrastructure & Operations

• Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of IT services, infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
• Leverage emerging technologies, automation, and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Optimize budgets for technology initiatives and IT operations.

Governance & Security

• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and governance frameworks.
• Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery measures and business continuity planning.

Vendor Management & Partnerships

• Build strategic vendor partnerships to support technology delivery and innovation.
• Ensure IT alignment with evolving business needs through external partnerships and collaboration.

Talent & Organizational Development

• Emphasize talent development and Emiratization across the IT team.
• Develop and retain IT talent aligned with organizational values and capability needs.
