Role Overview
Senior Vice President - Development at Aldar Properties.
Role Purpose
Lead the development strategy and execution across Aldar Properties' portfolio, overseeing project delivery, portfolio optimization, and alignment with corporate objectives to drive sustainable growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Establish and execute development strategy aligned with corporate vision and market opportunities.
- Optimize the development portfolio to maximize returns and market positioning.
- Drive strategic initiatives that enhance competitive advantage and shareholder value.
Project Delivery & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery from planning through completion.
- Monitor project performance against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal departments to align development plans with operational capabilities.
- Engage external stakeholders including partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate development strategy and performance to senior leadership and the Board.
Market & Business Development
- Identify and evaluate new development opportunities within target markets.
- Lead market analysis and feasibility studies to support investment decisions.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand market presence.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all development activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Establish governance frameworks for project oversight and risk management.
- Report on development performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
