Role Overview
Senior Transport/Roads Design Engineer at Surbana Jurong Group, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on the design and delivery of roads, highways, junctions, and civil infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Role Purpose
Lead the design and delivery of transportation and roads infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful stakeholder collaboration from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Delivery
- Lead the design and delivery of roads and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and review road alignments, junction layouts, and engineering drawings.
- Develop road designs using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements and industry standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings and support technical reviews.
Team Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–16 years of experience in transport and roads design.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE project experience.
- Strong experience in road geometry, highways, junctions, and infrastructure design.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

- DMT registration is preferred.
