Senior Technician - HVAC

Role Overview

Senior Technician - HVAC with Al Ghurair, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing indoor air quality systems, including air conditioners, with duties encompassing warranty services and emergency repairs.

Role Purpose

To install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and air quality equipment throughout their lifecycle, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently while meeting service standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance

• Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems.
• Manage air quality systems from installation to end-of-life through maintenance and warranty services.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnostics and Repair

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

Support and Training

• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Assist and manage all related HVAC support issues.
• Respond to all requests by email or telephone.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 to 8 years experience as HVAC Technician.
• Diploma degree in any relevant major (preferred).
• Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf region (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of HVAC.
• Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
• Detail-oriented approach to installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
• Skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems.
• Driving license (preferred).

Additional Information

• Able to work in shift duty.
