Role Overview
Senior Supervisor – TMart with Transguard Group in Dubai. The role delivers end-to-end operational excellence, sales performance, stock integrity, and service quality across 10 TMart stores located in staff accommodations, leading 26 staff while ensuring consistent delivery of a safe, compliant, and profitable retail operation aligned to budget, SOPs, and KPI targets.
Role Purpose
Own all operational, financial, and customer-facing aspects of a 10-store TMart retail network. Drive productivity, customer experience, and continuous improvement while maintaining stock integrity, sales performance, and compliance with internal and UAE regulatory standards. Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, HSE, and Accommodation Administration to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance
- Deliver revenue and gross profit targets across TMart stores.
- Support business case preparation for new TMarts and kiosks aligned to 40% projected profit growth.
- Manage supplier-related spend across 16 vendors and review pricing and contract renewals.
- Oversee monthly petty cash and inventory valuation.
- Ensure timely submission of purchase, sales reports, and invoices for financial accuracy.
Operations & Process
- Manage end-to-end operations of 10 TMart stores and supervise 26 staff.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedure adherence and smooth day-to-day store operations.
- Own inventory governance: goods received notes, binning, stock counts, variance resolution, and loss prevention.
- Ensure accurate POS transactions and data integrity within the Hulexo system.
- Coordinate audits and serve as primary contact for QA and internal audits.
- Manage staff rosters and time and attendance reporting.
- Oversee store operations during absence of store in-charge.
- Manage vendor operations and service delivery quality.
Customer Experience & Compliance
- Ensure consistent, friendly service standards across all stores.
- Resolve customer escalations promptly and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and store presentation, including visual merchandising and planograms.
- Ensure compliance with UAE health, hygiene, and food safety regulations impacting customer safety.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement in operations and productivity.
- Support expansion of TMart network including new stores and kiosks pipeline.
- Enhance sales performance and operational efficiency through better controls and analytics.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Finance, HSE, and Accommodation Administration to improve outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of retail operations experience with multi-site responsibility.
- 2–3 years in supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Intermediate College qualification.
- Familiarity with UAE food safety and retail compliance standards.
Skills & Competencies
- MS Office Suite proficiency.
- Familiar with ORACLE.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, specifically Hulexo.
- Inventory control expertise.
- Retail analytics capability.
