Role Purpose

The Senior Subcontracts Specialist manages subcontract agreements for moderate to increasingly complex scope on local and international projects in an assigned region, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and cost control. The role requires specialty knowledge of commercial management, engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction work processes, with experience in more than two contract specialties.

Key Responsibilities

Subcontract Administration

• Support large subcontract efforts of moderate to increasingly complex scope for local and international projects in an assigned region.
• Perform all commercial subcontracts administration work, including assistance with high volume subcontract packages from issued requests for proposals through execution phase.
• Actively participate in managing and administering subcontracts engaged in construction activities for oil and gas-related projects under minimal supervision.

Pre-Award and Post-Award Activities

• Qualify potential bidders and assemble and issue Invitations to Bid.
• Assist with commercial and technical bid evaluations towards finalization and award of contracts.
• Conduct daily administration during execution including communications, invoicing, status reports, and contract closeout.

Cost Control and Financial Management

• Own assigned subcontracts packages for budget and cost, including monitoring expenditures on payment approval, changes, and negotiating disputes for the best position of the company in accordance with contract provisions.
• Ensure cost control is maintained throughout the subcontract lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years in Supply Chain.
• 8–10+ years in Oil and Gas EPC Company, project management, subcontracts, contracting strategies, or contract management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in executing subcontract templates, packages, bid evaluation, negotiating terms and conditions, or subcontract development and management processes.
