Senior Structural Engineer

Role Overview

Role Purpose

Lead architectural design development and coordination for luxury villas and residential communities. Ensure design intent, compliance, and constructability across all project phases while managing authority submissions, providing construction support, and building internal architectural capability.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development & Coordination

• Lead and contribute to architectural design development for luxury villas and residential communities
• Coordinate architectural packages across all project phases, ensuring design intent, compliance, and constructability
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to high quality standards
• Support value engineering initiatives while safeguarding design quality

Authority & Compliance

• Manage authority submissions and approvals (ADM, civil defense, utilities, etc.)
• Ensure alignment with local regulations, regional design expectations, and employer branding standards

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Work closely with engineering consultants, specialist designers, and internal construction teams
• Provide architectural support during construction, addressing site queries and design clarifications
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to building internal architectural capability

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering high-end or luxury developments in the UAE or wider GCC
• Strong technical knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills
