Role Purpose

Lead structural design and coordination activities for complex building and infrastructure projects. This role ensures compliance with engineering standards, optimizes structural solutions, and provides technical leadership throughout the design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Technical Analysis

• Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings.
• Conduct structural analysis and provide technical recommendations.
• Optimize structural solutions for project requirements.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards.
• Maintain familiarity with UAE building codes and international standards.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Oversee preparation of shop drawings and approve structural details.

Project Support and Documentation

• Support project planning and provide technical input during execution.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation for design approvals.

Leadership and Development

• Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience in structural design and coordination within contracting or consultancy firms.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of structural analysis software: ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, and Revit.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
