Role Overview

Senior Specialist - Geotechnical Engineering at AD Ports Group.

Role Purpose

Provide geotechnical engineering solutions that are safe, sustainable, cost-effective, fit for purpose, commercially satisfying and innovative, ensuring alignment with the Group's governance and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery

• Develop the technical requirements for ports and maritime engineering studies, construction and performance specifications, design standards and other technical documents as required.
• Develop initial preconceptual engineering schemes for potential future projects.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports and documents for both internal and external stakeholders.

Standards & Improvement

• Identify future trends in the field of geotechnical engineering and propose improvements and enhancements to existing specifications, standards, methods, and solutions.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of departmental standards and procedures.

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship between project teams, supply chain and other stakeholders for the betterment of the AD Ports Group.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
