Role Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer - System Integrators at Majid Al Futtaim, Customer Solutions, Jordan.

Role Purpose

Support FM procurement category through strategic and operational procurement activities across various FM projects, managing annual spend of approximately AED 50–100 million.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Procurement

• Manage procurement activities for FM projects covering AED 50–100 million annual spend.

Sourcing & Tendering

• Develop sourcing strategies and manage RFQs, bids, tenders, eAuctions and eSourcing processes.

Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, onboard and manage suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and relationships.

Commercial Negotiation

• Lead price negotiations, contracts, commercial agreements and Letters of Intent.
• Ensure alignment with procurement policies.

Cost & Savings Management

• Analyze supplier offers and conduct total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
• Benchmark pricing and deliver targeted annual savings.

Category & Market Analysis

• Conduct market research and supplier analysis.
• Benchmark and monitor trends across FM categories.

Procurement Governance & Compliance

• Ensure sourcing activities comply with legal requirements, internal policies, governance standards and best practices.

Stakeholder & Reporting Management

• Partner with internal business stakeholders and suppliers.
• Provide sourcing recommendations, strategy updates, progress reports and benefits realization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years' experience in contracting or category management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional procurement qualification such as MCIPS preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Understanding and application of best-in-class procurement processes, systems, and practices.
• Proficiency or familiarity with SAP Ariba, Microsoft AX, Oracle, and eRFx platforms.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
