Role Overview

Senior Social Media Analyst at Lucidya. This role focuses on evaluating the success of social media and web presence for brands, campaigns, and initiatives through data-driven analysis and professional reporting.

Role Purpose

To assess and communicate the performance of social media efforts by analyzing post metrics, tracking engagement patterns, and delivering actionable insights to internal teams and external clients through professional reports.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis & Performance Tracking

• Analyze social media post metrics including likes, shares, retweets, and related engagement data.
• Make notes of posts that perform poorly and find evidence of poor performance.
• Observe follower engagement and build reports on their behaviors.
• Analyze user data to identify behavioral patterns in order to improve engagement with content.

Insights & Recommendations

• Provide constructive criticism to content creators to help them make improvements.
• Research new social media trends and tools.
• Keep up to date with current events and pop culture to better understand user behavior.
• Monitor social media channels for mentions of company or brand names to identify potential customer service issues or opportunities for increased brand awareness.

Reporting & Communication

• Create reports with analytical findings and recommendations for internal requests (sales, marketing, etc.) or external requests (customers, prospects).
• Provide feedback to clients and social media or CX directors on how a campaign, brand, or initiative has been received and how it can be adjusted.
• Present findings in professional reports and in easily understandable formats.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in any social media role, content creator role, or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of social media tools and trends.
• Proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Data-driven analysis and evaluation capabilities.
