SENIOR SITE DIRECTOR (Hyperscale Data Centers)

Role Overview

Senior Site Director for a global leader in energy management and industrial automation, based in Saudi Arabia. You will lead critical multi-site hyperscale data center operations in a fast-track environment.

Role Purpose

Take full ownership of construction, installation, and commissioning readiness across multiple hyperscale data center sites in Saudi Arabia, ensuring on-time delivery under aggressive schedules, strict budget control, highest quality standards, zero harm HSE performance, and seamless coordination across multiple contractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead simultaneous data center construction sites.
• Drive site execution strategy and daily operational decisions.
• Control project schedule and critical paths, implement recovery plans.
• Ensure on-time delivery under aggressive schedules.

Technical & Systems Management

• Manage critical systems including MEP, MV/LV, UPS, HVAC, and generators.
• Ensure commissioning readiness including FAT/SAT, punch lists, QA/QC.

Financial & Contractual Management

• Maintain strict budget control for CAPEX and OPEX.
• Handle contractual aspects including variations, claims, and change orders.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Enforce strict HSE standards across all activities.
• Maintain zero harm HSE performance.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate seamlessly across multiple contractors and stakeholders.
• Interface with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Manage demanding clients and complex interfaces.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–20 years' experience in industrial, energy, or data center projects.
• Proven track record on hyperscale or mission-critical data centers.
• Strong expertise in MEP and electrical systems including MV/LV and UPS.
• Experience in fast-track, high-pressure project environments.
• Previous Middle East experience is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluent English required.
• Arabic fluency is a strong asset.

Additional Information

• Duration: 12 months renewable contract.
• Starting date: ASAP.
