Role Overview
Senior Sheetfed Printer at Al Ghurair.
Role Purpose
Operate and maintain sheetfed printing equipment to deliver consistent, high-quality print output while ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Print Quality & Consistency
- Monitor ink density, registration, and paper feed accuracy across the entire batch.
- Adjust machine settings proactively to prevent color shifts, misalignment, or print defects.
- Ensure uniformity from first sheet to last.
Ink-Water Management
- Maintain optimal ink-water balance throughout the print run to prevent scumming, toning, or emulsification.
- Fine-tune dampening systems and ink flow to ensure sharp, clean prints with consistent color fidelity.
Maintenance & Equipment Care
- Carry out periodic maintenance tasks including roller cleaning, blanket replacement, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical components.
- Document all maintenance activities and escalate any abnormalities to the technical team.
