Role Purpose

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting the company's platforms and infrastructure against security threats, designing security controls, and collaborating with engineering teams to embed security best practices throughout development.

Key Responsibilities

Security Design & Implementation

• Design and implement security controls across cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans

Incident Management & Monitoring

• Monitor systems for security incidents and lead response efforts

Development & Standards

• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices into development

Awareness & Compliance

• Conduct security awareness training for engineering teams
• Support compliance efforts related to data protection and security regulations

Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with emerging security threats and industry best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security or security engineering
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with security tools and incident response processes
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, OSCP, or similar) preferred
