Role Overview
Senior Road Engineer – Road and Highway at AtkinsRéalis. This role leads road supervision activities, ensures engineering compliance, and provides technical expertise for major road and highway projects.

Role Purpose
To lead and supervise road construction and pavement works on major projects, ensuring engineering compliance, technical quality, and adherence to design standards, schedules, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Construction
- Lead and supervise road construction and pavement works.
- Ensure timely execution of works according to schedule and quality standards.
Design and Documentation
- Review and approve design documents, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Conduct inspections and provide engineering recommendations.
Technical Oversight
- Monitor performance of asphalt plants, crushing plants, and field testing labs.
- Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specifications.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 12–15 years' experience in major road and highway projects.
- Expertise in road design standards, pavement engineering, and materials testing.
