Role Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contract Manager at HanmiGlobal Saudi. The role is based in Saudi Arabia and is pivotal in managing all aspects of the costs and contracts of construction projects.
Role Purpose
Provide cost advice, prepare estimates, and ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. Your expertise will help maximize project value and minimize financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Analysis
- Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates promptly for all phases of projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities for tendering purposes.
- Provide financial forecasts and maintain detailed financial reports throughout the project lifecycle.
Contract & Financial Management
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage variations and claims, evaluating the impact of change orders.
- Monitor and report on cash flow and financial aspects of the project.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Optimization
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize the project's financial performance.
Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors and provide training as necessary.
Risk & Compliance
- Assist in risk management and help develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations during all stages of project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
