Role Overview
Senior Quantity Surveyor Pre-Contract-Buildings at AtkinsRéalis, based in UAE. This role involves joining a growing team on high-profile projects across varying sectors and multiple locations within the Emirates.

Role Purpose
To deliver pre-contract quantity surveying services on newly awarded projects, providing expert cost control, valuation, and commercial management across high-profile developments in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Control & Valuation
- Demonstrate proven capability in remeasure contracts, cost control, and valuation of site-wide works.
- Deliver strong analytical, measurement, and reporting on project costs.
- Validate cost and progress through understanding of WIR/MIR processes and their impact.
Commercial & Contractual Management
- Apply strong commercial and contractual understanding, particularly with variations and change workflows.
- Manage contractual processes with demonstrated expertise.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Work effectively in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.
- Communicate technical information with proven English language technical writing ability.
Tools & Systems
- Use QS software CostX or similar as required.
- Apply proficiency in measurement tools including CostX, Planswift, and MS Excel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Minimum 4 years in consultant and/or client background.
- Minimum 5 years on government or major UAE programs.
- Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, or infrastructure.
- Experience on giga-projects or large-scale infrastructure developments is an advantage.

- Proficiency in CostX, Planswift, and MS Excel.
