Role Overview
Senior QA Engineer at BlackStone eIT, on-site role supporting manual software testing, User Acceptance Testing coordination, defect management, and test documentation to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Role Purpose
Execute manual software testing activities and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to validate that software solutions meet functional, usability, and quality requirements before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Execution
- Execute manual software testing activities based on business and technical requirements.
- Validate fixes and perform regression testing when required.
- Ensure software solutions meet functional, usability, and quality requirements.
Test Documentation & Preparation
- Prepare, review, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test execution records.
- Maintain accurate test documentation and provide regular testing status updates.
User Acceptance Testing
- Support User Acceptance Testing by coordinating with business users and project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with end users to facilitate UAT activities.
Defect Management
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects using defect management tools.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Communication & Reporting
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly in both Arabic and English.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Good understanding of the software testing lifecycle and defect lifecycle.
- Experience in preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Ability to support UAT activities and coordinate with end users.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Bilingual communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Experience using defect tracking or test management tools.
- Basic understanding of Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
