Role Overview
Senior Projects Coordinator at Jensen Hughes, based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role manages collaborative processes with internal teams to develop and monitor project plans within the business unit, ensuring projects are planned, monitored, and reported accurately in alignment with commercial objectives, compliance standards, and client requirements.

Role Purpose
This role ensures projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are planned, monitored, and reported accurately while supporting a wide range of projects within a fast-paced and diverse team. The coordinator leads the development, creation and maintenance of processes and tools that enable non-technical project delivery and coordinates across internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Monitoring
- Maintain and help redevelop integrated project monitoring tools and schedules across all phases of project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain trackers in coordination with project managers and document control teams.
- Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to establish realistic timelines and resource plans.
- Track project budgets against actual expenditures and discuss variances with project managers.
Deliverables & Documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and technical delivery teams for timely submission of deliverables.
- Lead combining and formatting of documents for internal review and client submissions in required formats.
- Use, redevelop and maintain standard reporting tools for internal and client reporting processes dependent on projects' needs.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Attend client meetings, workshops and other formal engagements where required to assist internal teams in maintaining accurate records of decisions, changes and follow ups.
- Coordinate with internal and external finance teams to follow up on invoicing matters and access common platforms for document submission.
- Coordinate with legal team to arrange for contract reviews, follow ups internally and externally, and amend records within CRM.
Reporting & Analysis
- Assist project managers with reporting using internal tools to monitor project resource allocations, utilization, and productivity across teams.
- Use advanced Excel, Power BI or Tableau for reporting and data analysis.
Team Development
- Provide training and development pathways for junior team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Administration, HR, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project administration or project control functions in a consulting or engineering environment.
- Proven experience working with multinational project teams and clients.
- Experience in building services, multidisciplinary engineering, or specialized engineering disciplines is preferable.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in project controls software including Primavera P6, MS Project, Deltek, or similar.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for reporting and data analysis.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Aconex, Autodesk Construction Documents Management, or BIM360.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
