Role Overview
Senior Project Manager - Hotels at JASARA PMC. This role oversees hotel project execution and delivery from inception through completion.
Role Purpose
Lead and manage complex hotel projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and hotel operators to deliver exceptional hospitality environments that meet client objectives and market demands.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Manage all phases of hotel projects including planning, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans for hotel-specific projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as hotel operators, consultants, and vendors ensuring alignment with project goals.
Quality & Compliance
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with hotel brand standards, local regulations, safety guidelines, and sustainability criteria.
- Ensure understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices relevant to hotel projects.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines and costs.
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Lead regular project status meetings and provide timely progress reports to senior management and clients.
Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for hotel project delivery processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of project management experience.
- At least 5 years managing hotel development or renovation projects.
- Proven track record of successful hotel project delivery on time and within budget.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hotel design standards, construction methods, and operational requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and risk management abilities.
