Role Overview
Senior Project Engineer at Mapei. Reports to the Project Manager.
Role Purpose
The Senior Project Engineer manages and oversees all aspects of industrial engineering projects, including project planning, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring delivery of quality outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Develop project plans including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage design, construction, commissioning, and delivery of engineering projects.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate resources throughout execution.
Compliance & Quality
- Oversee safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all project activities.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other project participants to provide technical assistance and support.
Documentation & Technical Leadership
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, tender materials, and reports.
- Provide technical leadership in design and development.
- Prepare and update engineering drawings with AUTOCAD software.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Industrial Project Works.
- AUTOCAD experience.
- Experience in Plant and Equipment Maintenance works is an added advantage.
- Age: 30 to 40 years.

- Knowledge of basic engineering fundamentals.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Team player.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Familiar with safety protocols.
